Photo shoot 5
I have created this work because I’m looking at multiple images. I chose the subject matter as a person because I wanted to blend humans with nature. I set the tree in the middle of her throat because it seems like the trunk is her throat then the tree expands covering her face which looks like the veins going around her body. The images is quite faint and to improve next time I would make the colours stronger however I feel the faint colours are giving it a calm effect and that the sunset is giving it a warm positive feeling to the image. For the second image I like how the colours contrast well and that there is a different feel to the image because of the colours. For this I edited the portrait to black and white and left the other image in colour. The way that the tree covers the person completely is giving the message that there is nature within us. The colours give it more of a wintery effect whereas the other one looks more summery. The last image doesn’t have anything going on around it this time. I wanted the make up to be bold and stand out against her skin tone so I edited it making her look paler and I didn’t want the branches to stand out too much, I wanted them to be faint so it looks like the trees are veins gradually moving up her face.

I like that you have used different aspects of the face, I also like in the second image how you cant see their face because their identity has been hidden. The red lipstick shows a contrast of colour and comes across as very eye catching. To improve this photo shoot You could make the trees stronger like you have on the second image as it stands out more.
